Jacobs Ladder will be holding a Chili Supper on December 1st (the night of the Cookeville Christmas Parade) in the CLC. We will begin serving chili at 5:15 p.m. and will serve until 6:00 p.m.

From 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. our guest speaker will be Dr. Lee Ann Jolley, who will speak about the importance of children learning through play. Free childcare will be provided for parents who wish to attend Dr. Jolley’s presentation.

The November 20th issue of the Cookeville Methodist newsletter has been updated on the website and is available for viewing. There have been a few people that have reported problems accessing the newsletter from the link in the weekly update message. We are trying to resolve that problem. The newsletter is easily accessible from the Home Page of the website www.cookevillefumc.org on the right side of the page. We encourage everyone to check out the site and look for all of the activities listed and any updated information.
