Choir Club 2009-2010

Hello to all!
As school is starting back and we are all setting our weekly schedules, I hope that you will make Choir Club an important part of your child’s activities. We strive to give your child a faith-based music education that not only involves them in the life of the church as active participants in worship, but also equips them with lifelong music, worship and leadership skills.

Fall Semester Rolling Along

During Mid-June 2009 Senior Pastor Max Mayo put out the call to the Adult Sunday School classes to help with this new ministry to assist Jere Whitson Elementary teachers and students get back on their feet because with this new school year the school will re-open after a devasting fire that destroyed most of the building in 2007.

**New this week! Calling all Singing Seniors!! Rehearsal begins September 3rd.

**Also: The Foundation Sunday School invites anyone interested in "Fireproof Your Marriage" to join them on Sunday to see the movie "Fireproof" and then for the study in approx. 2-3 weeks.

Music Opportunities

See current Music calendar

Room Parent to come once a week for 2 to 4 hours and assist the teacher in the classroom. This could be putting up bulletin boards, grading papers, tutoring students individually, assisting with art projects, or whatever is needed by the teacher.
Reading Buddy to listen to a child or group of 1-3 children read. (once a week)
