BEING COMFORTABLE REFERRING TO THE STEPHEN MINISTRY

The Stephen Ministry continues to serve congregants and the community by providing Christian care to those experiencing life challenges. As a church ministry, the Stephen Ministry belongs to each of us and as a result can be utilized by us as individuals. The Stephen Ministry, as well as the other church ministries, can act as special tools utilized as an available resource in your service to others. In the same way you would request prayer for a friend in need, the Stephen Ministry may be available to a friend that needs a listening ear. The Stephen Ministry is not solely for Stephen Ministers to provide Christian care. The Stephen Ministry is a servant resource for you to access for a friend with a crisis.Read more

Therefore, we have started a coordinated ministry with homebound persons called Barnabas Ministry. Read more

Magnolia Place

This is an adult daycare program where volunteers assist participants with encouraging activities that help them maintain their dignity.
This program also gives the participants’ caregivers a chance to take a much-needed break.

Prayer Ministry
Prayer Chain: Prayer chain participants pray for requests that are received through the church office. These requests go out weekly or on an emergency basis. Prayer team members make a one year commitment. Each Sunday attendees may fill out the prayer request form on the tear-off strip of the bulletin and place it in the offering plate. Requests may be designated as confidential (for pastors only) or to be shared with our Prayer Chain. Read more
