The Third Annual Scrapbooking Luau will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If it's anything like previous events, Scrapbooking fans are sure to enjoy a day filled with FOOD, FUN, FREEBIES and FELLOWSHIP!

Some of what is currently expected to be planned throughout the day will be:

MOPS Purpose Statement
MOPS International exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.

MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers (ages birth through the end of Kindergarten), is about celebrating motherhood, meeting the needs of every mom, making connections, and experiencing God's love through relationships and resources. We meet every 2nd Monday from 9AM - 11:30AM, September through May in the Jeff Wall Hall.

MOPPETS. While mothers enjoy the MOPS breakfast meeting, their children enjoy the MOPPETS program. MOPPETS is a free preschool-like program, with planned activities that contribute to the child's social growth, physical and creative development, and spiritual enrichment. Registration is required and is on a first come first serve basis.

MOPPETS is the perfect place to serve if you love children and would like to give mothers of preschoolers a break. While the moms find refreshment and encouragement by connecting with other moms, their children need a safe, loving place to be. We need members of the church to come make a difference in the life of a child and family for eternity. Your committment would be from 8:30-11:30 am, and you will join a loving team of other teachers and caregivers.
