April 23, 2009 Issue is now available
Good Afternoon!
First of all, I want to thank you for being a subscriber of this e-newsletter. We've received some response to our "quest" to have more people cancel the newsletter by mail and are now receiving it by email.
The current issue of the Cookeville FUMC Newsletter has been updated on the website and is now available for viewing. This week there is information about the 2009 Graduates of the Disciple Bible Study classes. Look for news about the next musical event on May 3rd: Just A Little Off Broadstreet and the 58th Annual National Day of Prayer; also more info about a new mission project called ArkALMIGHTY. Be sure to stop by their table in the narthex after each service on Sunday. Of course, there is so much more information to read, so here is the link to access this newsletter
http://www.cookevillefumc.org/sites/default/files/April_23_2009News.pdf.
AOL users and some other email programs do not allow users to simply click on the link to go directly to the newsletter. In this case you may need to copy the link above and paste it into the address bar to access the current e-copy of the newsletter.
The numbers in brackets (i.e. a "[1]" a "[2]" or a "[3]") after each link of this notice allow you to scroll down to the bottom of this message and access the links to go directly to the newsletter or website. If you DO need to select and copy the link information into your address bar, be sure to only select from the "http:" to the ".pdf" from the address line. Do *NOT* include the "[1]" or the "[2]" and you should be successful.
If you experience difficulty and the link above does NOT take you to the current newsletter, please call or email Sherry White at the church office
(526-2177) Mon-Fri, email address: communications@cookevillefumc.org so we can determine the problem.
You can also access both current and archived copies of the newsletter by clicking on the link or icon on the right side of the website Home page: www.cookevillefumc.org.
I appreciate any feedback you can offer. We want to encourage more and more users to enjoy the newsletter online and allow us to reduce the number of paper copies sent through the mail. If you enjoy the newsletter online and you still receive the paper copy and you want to discontinue the paper copy, please call me or drop me a quick email so I can make the adjustment in the program that generates the mailing labels.
Sincerely, Sherry White
