Dr. Childress' hygienists visit and teach good dental care

On Friday, Feb 19, dental hygienists from Dr. Clark Childress’ practice came to speak with the children about the importance of good dental care.  Students were instructed how to brush and floss correctly, and learned about tooth decay.  Each student was given a take-home package of toothbrush, toothpaste, and tooth floss.   Pictured at left, dental hygienists Kim Burris and Marsha Johnston use yarn to floss between fingers to demonstrate proper flossing technique with the students in Mrs. Kirby’s 4th grade class.
