Jere Whitson Workday

Volunteers for the Jere Whitson Partnership had a beautiful day to work outdoors. Fifteen volunteers gave their Saturday to provide clean-up services to the Jere Whitson School. At the top of the “To-Do List” was picking up trash from the campus and along the street. We raked leaves and grass clippings, and did some minor repairs on playground equipment as well. Flowers were planted along the walkway into the school. Youth volunteers accrued service hours for their efforts. This school year is winding down soon, but we are in the planning stages for projects for the 2010-2011 school year. We are honored to be adopters for Jere Whitson School and look forward to our continuing efforts to serve them. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this wonderful ministry.
