Make-Up Class and Music News

We will be having a make-up class for Early Childhood Music on Tuesday, May 5 at 9:15. As is tradtional, come in your pajamas, or if you prefer come complete with sombrero since this is Cinco de Mayo.

In other news, Mrs. Kathy and I traveled with our youth choir kids to First Christian Church in Livingston yesterday. As is tradition for youth choir, we got lost, but arrived at 10:25-- just in time for their 10:30 service. The church was warm and welcoming. It was an honor to share worship with them. And, at the risk of gushing over our youth choir-- what a wonderful group this is! We had 23 youth choir kids participate, and they did a great job. It is difficult and sometimes intimidating to go into an unfamiliar place and sing, but they rose to the occasion. The processional was choreographed, and they just did a fabulous job. They truly were an example of taking the light of Christ out into the world, and we can all learn lessons from them-- offering your best, serving God and others with love and humility. May we all use their example to do more, love more, and be more for God.
