Good Afternoon!

The current issue of the Cookeville FUMC Newsletter has been updated on the website and is now available for viewing:

http://www.cookevillefumc.org/sites/default/files/May_28_2009News.pdf

Of course, this week's newsletter and previous copies are *always* available online on the upper right side of the HOME page: www.cookevillefumc.org.

Look on page 3 of the newsletter for some corrected information about the trip to Brentwood UMC for Annual Conference at 7 p.m. on June 14th when Drew will be Commissioned. Signup sheets for travel and the meal ($25 for both) will be available in the narthex as well as the church office. If you wish to travel on your own and wish to join in the meal we still need everyone to sign up and the cost is $13. Registration DEADLINE has been moved up to this Sunday, May 31st.

This issue of the newsletter also provides information for next Sunday, June 7th - Promotion Sunday that applies to all children and youth and what Sunday School classrooms they will now move to for the upcoming year.

If you experience difficulty and the link above does NOT take you to the current newsletter, please call or email Sherry White at the church office
(526-2177) Mon-Fri, email address: communications@cookevillefumc.org so we can determine the problem. Please read below for some additional suggestions to help resolve some minor issues.

I appreciate any feedback you can offer. We want to encourage more and more users to enjoy the newsletter online and allow us to reduce the number of paper copies sent through the mail. If you enjoy the newsletter online and you still receive the paper copy and you want to discontinue the paper copy, please call me or drop me a quick email so I can make the adjustment in the program that generates the mailing labels.

We continue to receive a positive response to our "quest" to have more people cancel the newsletter by mail and are now receiving it by email. We still need many more cancellations of the paper newsletter & subscriptions to the online newsletter, so please share the news with anyone you think would enjoy having access to the newsletter online. If you want to have a newsletter sent to multiple members of your family, just let me know and I'll be happy to add them as well. It's simple and easy to make available to everyone.

Sincerely,
Sherry White

AOL and some other email programs do not allow users to simply click on the link to go directly to the newsletter. In this case you may need to copy the link above and paste it into the address bar to access the current e-copy of the newsletter.

The numbers in brackets (i.e. a "[1]" a "[2]" or a "[3]") after each link of this notice allow you to scroll down to the bottom of this message and access the links to go directly to the newsletter or website. If you DO need to select and copy the link information into your address bar, be sure to only select from the "http:" to the ".pdf" from the address line. Do *NOT* include the "[1]" or the "[2]" and you should be successful.
