Music plays an important part in worship. It enhances the worship experience and gives voice to our celebration in the presence of God. The Music Ministry provides an opportunity for discipleship and a place to share the talents given each of us. Find your place and "make a joyful noise unto the Lord." Psalm 98:4a
The Music Ministry is proceeding with practices and performances for Fall 2020. Social distancing will be strictly adhered to and masks will be required at all times for all participants. If you are comfortable participating under these guidelines we look forward to seeing you in person. If not, we respect and honor your decision. We all look forward to the time we can once again gather, sing, praise, and pray together. Safe distancing will be very much a part of each rehearsal and recording time.

Youth Choir for Fall 2020 will look a little different. The group will be rehearsing in smaller ensembles throughout the sanctuary building. Rehearsal time will begin each week in the Choir Room, 206 A-B, in the Sanctuary building. The folding wall will remain open so that the space is double in size, chairs are safely spaced, and masks are required. The rehearsals will be structured so that the group is able to prepare and rehearse music for the fall and Christmas.
As with all things at this time, there will be changes and transitions. We hope to provide as normal a Youth Choir experience as possible. So, everyone is needed and encouraged to be ready for rehearsals on Wednesday, September 2 at 6 p.m. In person registration will be at the first rehearsal.
The Youth Choir is under the direction of Kevin Salter. Assisting with Youth Choir rehearsals will be Cass Roberts and Todd Arnold.
