We believe the church belongs to God and that the church is, in the words of the Apostle Paul, the body of Christ. The church is to be the physical presence of Christ in the world. As such, our primary aim is to do God’s will.
If you would like more information about Cookeville FUMC, you may contact the church office at 526-2177 anytime Mon - Fri 8AM -4:30PM. You're also welcome to speak with our pastors after church on Sunday.

There are three ways to unite with the church:
1) Transfer of membership from another Methodist church
2) Transfer from another denomination, or
3) By profession of faith.
If you have been baptized, it is not necessary to be baptized again. If you have not been baptized, you can be baptized when you join. We do hope you'll join our Christian family!
