Mission

The Wellness and Recreation ministry of FUMC Cookeville recreation, fitness, camps, and leisure activities to draw people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. These tools will also be used to form new relationships and deepen existing relationships within the church body, as well as to build bridges into the community.

Goals:

• To teach Christian values, build Christian character, and develop specific skills in the area of sports and recreation.

• To provide opportunities for fellowship, both inter-generational and within the same age range/stage of life.

• To offer programs that will promote the growth of participants physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

• To serve those in the community by providing a nurturing, non-threatening environment in which relationships can naturally develop.
