The Hanging of the Greens

The Hanging of the Greens will be held on Sunday evening, December 7th at 5:00pm. The service of Advent music and symbolism will feature music by the choirs, ensembles and handbell choirs of FUMC.

All children of the church are invited and encouraged to participate in the dedication portion of The Hanging of the Greens. There is a required rehearsal for all dedication participants. There are two rehearsal opportunities. Each participant MUST attend ONE of the rehearsals. Please be prompt to these rehearsals so that your child will feel comfortable with his/her responsibility in the service.

Friday, December 5:
3:30 - 3:50 Ages 3-4
3:50 - 4:10 K and 1st Grade
4:10 - 4:30 2nd and 3rd Grade
4:30 - 4:50 4th - 6th Grade

Saturday, December 6:
10:00 - 10:20 Ages 3-4
10:20 - 10:40 K and 1st Grade
10:40 - 11:00 2nd and 3rd Grade
11:00 - 11:20 4th - 6th Grade

Youth (Grades 7-12) participating in the Hanging of the Greens will rehearse on Wednesday, December 3 at 6:45pm in the Sanctuary.

The Youth Group invites everyone to join them for hot cider and treats directly following the Hanging of the Greens in the CLC. Please make plans to attend. Any donations will go toward future youth missions.
