We have fourteen adult Sunday School classes at First United Methodist Church. All of our classes are involved in mission projects, special activities and social events throughout the year. They strive to build a sense of community among their class members as well as to reach out to new members. Classes vary as to size and format. We encourage visitation of the various classes in order to choose which one best meets your needs.
Additionally there are three youth and ten children’s Sunday school classes, all meeting at 9:45 – 10:45 am each Sunday morning. Visitors and guests are always warmly welcomed and included in the various learning activities that take place in each class. Teachers are all trained and have completed background checks. The curriculum used is United Methodist and designed for individual age / grade levels.
The Nursery is also available for infants and toddlers during Sunday school. Two year olds through Kindergartners meeting on the first floor of the Christian Life Center in rooms also used by Jacob’s Ladder Preschool / Day Care. First – Sixth grade meet on the second floor of that same building. Youth meet in the lower level of the Freeman Building.
Please join us! You are welcome!
